The Fellowship is pleased to present our discussion of the 1965 animated short A Charlie Brown Christmas. It's that time of year, gang, and we've got plenty of lockdown time to watch some holiday classics. And this one is a particular favorite of ours, though we have some opinions about some of the others. Plus our usual tangents galore and our comics picks of the week.
Announcements:
We found a way to do our monthly meetups - on Discord! Come hang out with us in the voice channel on the 4th Saturday of the month; details on Facebook & Twitter & the Events tab on our website We're super excited to announce our partnership with ComicBooks For Kids. Details on the website (and you should be listening to hear more, too 🙂)
What we're up to this week:
Supernatural rant with spoilers (I was very optimistic - you'll want to skip to about 16:15 to avoid them), watched Murder By Death on Discord, Classic Albums episodes on The Wailers' Catch a Fire and Sex Pistols' Never Mind The Bollocks Here's the Sex Pistols, The Coed and the Zombie Stoner, The Best of Sex & Violence or Reel Exposure depending on where you find it (the other movie Les & Liz are talking about is Cannibal Women in the Avocado Jungle of Death from 1989), Taking Shape II: The Lost Halloween Sequels (The Killer Inside Me was written by Jim Thompson in 1952 - there was a really good comics adaptation a few years ago)
We added our picks to the website as their own page! It's an easy reference for you to find some cool stuff to read (especially in social distancing mode). So go check it out, and hit the site as you need or want 🙂
And we're doing a Christmas trivia event on Discord this month - come join us over there and join the fun 🙂
The creator of the For Better Or Worse comic strip was Lynn Johnston.
