The Fellowship is pleased to present our discussion of Skottie Young's awesome series I Hate Fairyland. Spoilers fly in this one, starting with how much we collectively love this book. We talk about Skottie's art, the birth of this story, the inherent weirdness of it, how we think it qualifies as a horror story, and a bunch of stuff in between. Plus our usual tangents galore and our comics picks of the week.

The Fellowship is pleased to present our discussion of summer movies. But since we can't be sure that we'll have movies this summer, we took it back to the summer movies of 1985. The 1980s was a decade of highs and lows, in movies or otherwise, and '85 had some major hits and some major misses. We talk a whole lot about the ones we liked, as much as we dare about the ones we didn't, and a bunch of stuff in between. Plus our usual tangents galore and our comics picks of the week.

The Fellowship is pleased to present our discussion of Crisis on Infinite Earths from DC Comics. This is one of the first big crossover events in comics, and is still one of the most talked-about storylines ever (not to mention the recent crossover treatment by the CW network shows). We talk about the book itself, the complexity of the story, the body count (spoilers, I guess), how important it was (and still is), and a bunch of other stuff. Plus our usual tangents galore and our comics picks of the week.

The Fellowship is pleased to present our discussion of villain-centric comic series. The Joker had his own title for a while in 1975, and we're wondering this week if it's a viable, sustainable concept. We talk about the Joker title, the hero-villain dynamic, which other villains have had their own titles, which ones we'd like to see title for, and a bunch of other stuff. Plus our usual tangents galore and our comics picks of the week.

The Fellowship is pleased to present our discussion of Wizard Magazine and whether it could be viable today. It was really popular back in the 90s, but could it rise again from the ashes? We have opinions (shocking, right?). We talk about the magazine, the kind of stuff it covered, where and how we get that stuff today, and a bunch of other stuff. Plus our usual tangents galore and our comics picks of the week.

The Fellowship is pleased to present our conversation with comics creator Steve Bryant. He's got a new Kickstarter campaign for The Catch, his story about a bounty hunter for super-powered skips, which you should definitely back. He's also the creator of the Athena Voltaire series and the Ghoul Scouts series, both from Action Lab Comics. We talk about the KS campaign, his previous work, his webcomic, what he does when he's not writing and drawing comics, and a bunch of other stuff. Plus our usual tangents galore and our comics picks of the week.

The Fellowship is pleased to present our discussion on the separation of Dan DiDio as Co-Publisher at DC Comics. The announcement in February was not loud, and we haven't really learned much since then, either. But he held the job for quite some time, and did a reasonable job of it. We talk about his background, some of his notable achievements, some of the opinions he's voiced over the years, a bit of editorializing, and a bunch of other stuff. Plus our usual tangents galore and our comics picks of the week.
