The Fellowship is pleased to present a big announcement: we're partnering with ComicBooks For Kids to help bring comic books to kids in hospitals. We're very excited about this (which will be evident when you listen). We also talk about the Rutland Halloween Parade, which is celebrating its 60th year next month. Plus our usual tangent-laden escapades and our comics picks of the week.

Announcements:

The Fellowship is pleased to present our Casting Call for an expansion of the 1952 Superman TV series. It brought the big guy into our living rooms in a whole new way back in the day, so we're expanding on that to try to spread the love around. We always have a blast with these, and we hope you do as well. Plus our usual funny business and our comics picks of the week.

Announcements:
Come hang out with us! We have monthly meetups on 2nd Saturdays in Garland, TX; details on Facebook & Twitter & the Events tab on our website
And this year's October theme: Vincent Price!

What we're up to this week:
Still working on the bonus show for #All The Horror - I think you guys are going to enjoy it
Tough week, don't want to talk about it (at least not again)
Ready Or Not - enjoyable movie
A good time was had at the September Meet & Gab; also something fun is about to go down, which we will announce next week 🙂

Check out our sponsor page! Head to the website and click on the banners for Things From Another World! (Click through the TFAW banner on our site and we get a cut. Thank you!)

Strangely (or not, if you know us), we talk about a TV show from the 1950s, and our first tangent is on cellphones. Like you do.
And Thomas' microphone is still acting weird. Sorry about the dropouts 😞
And as always, our warning to you: this episode is dripping with references to people who have been dead for a while. Don't Google and drive, is what I'm saying here 🙂

The Fellowship is pleased to present our discussion of Scooby-Doo on or around its 50th anniversary. It's been a mainstay of children's television for a long time now, taking some format changes (and character updates) in stride. We get into our impressions from our younger days, the many variations over the years, the cultural impact, and a whole lot of other stuff. Plus our usual silly behavior and our picks of the week.

Announcements:
Come hang out with us! We have monthly meetups on 2nd Saturdays in Garland, TX; details on Facebook & Twitter & the Events tab on our website

What we're up to this week:
All podcast, all the time - working hard on #AllTheHorror
13 Reasons Why - season 3 is not as gripping as the previous 2, didn't get into OITNB either, though
Got out of jury duty (nothing shifty, we promise); new job (one day a week); pretty good week overall
Still working the new project (it will be really cool)

Check out our sponsor page! Head to the website and click on the banners for Things From Another World! (Click through the TFAW banner on our site and we get a cut. Thank you!)

Weirdly, Skype seemed fine this week, but TC's mic was a little wobbly. We'll try to get that sussed before next week's show.
And if you're not familiar, it's called "What's Opera, Doc?" and you need to track it down and watch it 🙂
The show Liz brings up was called Late Night Black & White, and another one like it that I enjoyed back then was ToonHeads. Fun historical stuff 🙂

Pellucidar: Wings of Death #1 (American Mythology)

The Fellowship is pleased to present our discussion of the Ghostbusters "franchise." Not gonna lie, we're mostly talking about the original 1984 film here, which is a favorite of ours. We get into our impressions from our younger days, interesting casting tidbits, the mediocre sequel, the controversial reboot, and a whole lot of other stuff. Plus our usual odd behavior and our picks of the week.

Announcements:

What we're up to this week:
Working on the #AllTheHorror stuff - should be some fun stuff unraveling soon 🙂
Reread The Fix (a twisted crime comic from a couple of years ago); also rereading another series to catch up for the fourth installment
Not the best week this week, waiting for luck to turn better
Also still working on secret projects, hopefully some news soon; also found an interesting Twitch streamer named Kitboga (he's a "scambaiter")

The promised Hellafied Funk Crew link 🙂
And a bit of research after the fact tells me that Peter MacNicol and Kristy McNichol are not, in fact, related.

The Fellowship is pleased to present our conversation with David Pepose, writer and creator of Spencer and Locke and the new series Going To The Chapel. We're big S&L fans around here, so this was a special treat for us 🙂. We get into his early days in comics, the Spencer and Locke movie project, the new book Going To The Chapel, feelings, and a whole lot of other stuff. Plus our usual crazy talk and our picks of the week.

Calling in from Oklahoma City (family trip); heard Baby Shark over and over to the breaking point
Working on exciting secret stuff; also got Forgotten All-Star, the Gardner Fox book we've mentioned before
