The Fellowship is pleased to present our discussion of Free Comic Book Day and the books that we're looking forward to this year. Every year for more than ten years now, the first Saturday in May brings a special event to our Local Comic Shops, and we're big fans of that sort of thing (not surprisingly). We talk new titles, cool reprints, and a whole lot of other stuff. Plus our usual oddness, as well as our picks of the week.

Announcements:
Come hang out with us! We have monthly meetups on 2nd Saturdays in Garland, TX; details on Facebook & Twitter & the Events tab on our website

What we're up to this week:
I got my loot from the Boston Metaphysical Society Kickstarter - again, thanks, Madeleine!
A hard week fighting poison ivy - and not even the fun Batman villain 😞 (but a fun torture tangent)
Actual comics - Astro Hustle, Section Zero, Dial H For Hero, Fairlady; all are awesome first issues (oh, and we're doing reviews again on the website, go check it out)
Picking up trades - Silver Age Justice League of America v2 and v3; cool stuff

April showers and all that, right? Well, in Texas we do things big, and our spring storms are no exception, as you'll hear throughout this week's exciting installment. A show so good it will rattle the foundations of the earth! πŸ˜‰
And oh yeah, free comics! Go check out your Local Comic Shop to get in on some of this action - and tell 'em we sent you!
If you don't have a regular comic shop, go to this website and they'll help you find one near you!

The Fellowship is pleased to present our discussion and review of Marvel Super Heroes Secret Wars (1984). Arguably the first major crossover event, this is a story with a lot going on, and we've got a lot of opinions about it (not surprisingly). We also talk villains, movie options, and a whole lot of other stuff. Plus our usual silly behavior, as well as our picks of the week.

The Fellowship is pleased to present another one of our Casting Call episodes, this time tackling a shiny new Justice League film. At this point there's a ton of recasting to be done, and we're just the folks to do it. We also have a chat about our reaction to the new Joker trailer, and a whole lot of other stuff. Plus our usual funny business, as well as our picks of the week.

The Fellowship is pleased to present our discussion of The Twilight Zone, partly because it's awesome but also because it's turning 60 years old this year. This show's effect on television and popular culture, even to this day, is immeasurable. We dig into the history and impact of the show, including the unparalleled list of acting talent, and a whole lot of other stuff. Plus our usual silly behavior, as well as our picks of the week.

What we're up to this week:
Reading some Harrow County and Kill Or Be Killed, not much else

Reading Justice League: The World's Greatest Superheroes (prepping for the Shazam movie)
AGFA film this month at the Alamo Drafthouse - Battlefield Earth! [Note: at a quick glance, Ishtar did win awards - but they were Razzies. -m]
